Jambo
!! Less than two weeks to go in the
formation program. Our commission
ceremony is on the 20th of May.
The time has just flown by and I cannot believe my time here at the
mission house is coming to an end.
The
program has been amazing, the professors remarkable and my fellow colleagues
the best group of people I have ever known.
I have formed a bond with each of them and will really miss them as we
will all be going to different parts of Africa. I have no doubt in my mind that the Lay Mission-Helpers
as well as the Mission Doctors will far exceed any expectations anyone may have
for them. What a devoted, loving, kind,
intelligent and faith filled group of selfless individuals they all are!!! I will miss them but will be sure to email
and Skype with them frequently.
I
have almost 4 weeks after commissioning before I leave for Kenya. I am really getting
excited to begin my journey. I sometimes
become anxious and fearful, but I have learned to turn to God with those fears
and ask for His help and guidance. HE
has brought me this far and I trust that
with GOD and the wonderful organization of Lay Mission-Helpers behind me
that I will find the strength and courage to see my mission through.
Once
again, I ask for your prayers , as that is the greatest gift anyone can give to
me. Until later, good bye and asante kwa
msaada wako na maombi!
