Jambo! My four month formation program has been
completed. I really miss my fellow Lay Mission-Helpers and Mission
Doctors after living with them for these past 4 months. As I have stated previously,
they are truly a remarkable and talented group of people and I cherish their
friendship.
As for myself, I am now at my parents’ home and in the
process of packing, or rather trying to figure out how to pack 3 years worth of
things I will need in Kenya into two large duffel bags!!!. I tend to over
pack so this is quite a challenge for me! My wonderful and very organized
sister is flying out here (to CA) from Cleveland to help me with my
packing!! Thank you Mary!!!
I have all my shots and my mosquito netting, bedding,
electrical adapters, toiletries, first aid kit, headlamp, clothing and
electronics pretty much all together. Every day I think of something
else, I guess at some point I will just have to just say enough!!! The
most important things I will be bringing are my bible and rosary and GOD!!!
I am getting so excited, sometimes it seems surreal to
me! I am really MOVING TO KENYA FOR THREE YEARS!!!!!
